Our Purpose and Values

 

 

At Quantin Binnah, we value community above all else. For us, this means celebrating each individual in our community, nurturing group connections, honouring our similarities and differences and helping each other learn and love each day. 
 

Quantin Binnah is a Public Institution whose principal charitable purposes are:

 

1. Advancing positive mental health and reducing and preventing isolation and loneliness to people in need through the provision of social, recreational, cultural and educational integrated activities and programs.

2. Creating welcoming and inclusive physical locations which support vulnerable individuals of all ages and abilities to undertake activities, or work on projects, in the company of others.

 

Constitution activities in furtherance of the principal purpose:

1. Encouraging all groups and individuals in the community to participate in planning and service direction to ensure the service is responsive to the vulnerable community.

2. Providing a wide range of services from birth to aging well activities which support community members of all ages and abilities to build life - long connections and social capital to subsidise and support QB’s principal purpose.

3. Facilitating social connections and collaboration for community members community groups and local organisations to support community members in need.

4. Ensuring services and programs available and accessible to community members in need including those with a disability, carers, and the CALD community.

Our mission is to provide inclusive education across all ages, focusing on being accessible and responsive to our diverse community needs. We aim to inspire collaboration and connection between community groups and local organisations.
